Deano Orr (Linebacker/Running Backs Coach)

Deano grew up in nearby Courtland, AL. He prepped at Courtland High School where he was a 3-sport athlete, an All State running back and defensive back and was part of Courtland High School's first state championship team in 1988. After high school, Deano was awarded a football scholarship to play at Ole Miss where he played on both sides of the ball. Deano lettered 4 years and was named the National Football Foundation & Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete Award at Ole Miss (1989) and also earned Academic All-SEC Honors from 1991-1993. Deano currently serves as a member on the Ole Miss M-Club Board of Directors. Deano is currently serving as a substitute teacher and assistant football coach at R.A. Hubbard High School while pursuing his Masters in Ministry at Huntsville Bible College. He is also a founding board member of HEAL (Hubbard Educational & Athletics League), a non-profit organization that promotes athletics and academic achievement in the Courtland-Town Creek community. Deano specializes in coaching running backs and linebackers.
